Great singing thru out, those priests where sure evil looking, sang great, jesus sang great too, alice copper dancers plus, whats a bust with reporters had cameras was better movie one had better dance scenes but with bigger budget

Wow!!! That was fabulous! I gave them a standing ovation in my living room. I loved it all especially at the end I could see the positive energy between the cast members and with he audience. Must go check out more of their stuff

Esta opera Rock es una sola ,no deberian cambiar personajes como de hombre a mujer ,por muy "inclusivo" que sea ,si quieren hacerlo asi or que no pusieron a un costado una pantalla con una persona mostrando el lenguaje de señas ? O a alguna persona con necesidades especiales? O personas de razas diferentes como chinos,latino,se cayeron con poner a una mujer de sacerdote feo horrible no me gusto para nada 😡

25:57 El cámara se descoloca. Se anuncia la llegada de Simón el zelote y vemos que cree que es el apóstol Pedro, al que enfoca todo el rato... hasta que sube una chica al lado de Jesús y empieza a cantar las estrofas del zelote. ELLA ES SIMÓN(a). ¿Porqué no le dijisteis al cámara que SIMÓN iba a ser UNA MUJER? XD Menudos momentos de CONFUSIÓN PARA EL ESPECTADOR de este vídeo y para dicho cámara... tanta "igualdad", paridad y ¿feminismo? forzado no puede traer nada bueno XD Cordiales saludos.

Una versión "inclusiva" esta con una Santa Cena integrada por apóstoles y... ¿"apóstalas"? entre otros detalles del mismo palo, ya que también podemos ver a "Simona" "la" zelote que causa que el mismo cámara se confunda y enfoque al apóstol Pedro todo el rato pensando que se trata de él y no de una chica, momentos registrados en esta grabación a partir de 25:57 y que hacen también confundir seriamente al espectador... es lo que trae tanta diversidad e "inclusividad" a golpe de fuerza. ¡Espero no ver nunca a una Judas o a un Mario Magdaleno, por ejemplo! esa esperanza tengo. Luego no llego a entender la ausencia total de "sangre" y/o heridas tras los latigazos a Jesús, no ayuda en absoluto a la comprensión de la obra ni tampoco a la actuación del actor (Giorgio Adamo). Así que: ¿qué hace un Jesús en la cruz sin heridas y EN PANTALÓN LARGO, además? Pero como el resultado del conjunto de toda la representación es sencillamente espectacular, obviemos lo anterior. Es magnífica. Mi sincera enhorabuena por ello. Conmueve, y es una de las ideas originarias de esta obra. Los actores e intérpretes son de buenos a muy, muy buenos. Pero la peor sensación que me llevo es ver a un Jesús ¡TATUADO! a la Carne, al verbo hecho hombre. Jesús con la piel mancillada y manchada por una absurda moda con la cual nos marcamos como si fuésemos corderos de tal o cual rebaño. No, por favor. Se trata de Jesús, del Hijo de Dios, de un ser puro, del ser más puro, del Espíritu y la Carne. Sin aditivos ni manchas ni maltrato a su propia piel en su imagen del Verbo hecho Hombre. Sin nada más que deciros, muy cordiales saludos y, una vez más, mi enhorabuena por tan destacable resultado en general.

Ho visto l'originale molti anni fa'. Ho comperato i dischi. Li so tutto a memoria. Ora ho 82 anni, Sono atea ma quando ascolto questa opera la trovo sempre magnifica !!!!

Everyone in the comments needs to understand that this is an Italian theater company doing an English rock opera that’s not in their native language. I didn’t mind the accents at all because as a fan of JCS, I’m impressed by the effort put into it. Plus the guy playing Jesus is hands down gorgeous!

It can't be easy to learn such a complex, haunting and unusual musical - especially when it isn't in your native language. English is difficult at best and to have to sing it.... To me, that just made this more impressive.

The orchestra is terrible. It overpowers the weak and off-tune singers.
